Los fragmentos de gres del sitio Mariano Miró. Análisis de su contenido y procedencia (La Pampa, siglo XX)

Abstract

This is an analysis of the stoneware fragments recovered from the archaeological site Mariano Miró (Chapaleufú Department, La Pampa). It is a town that was inhabited for a period of approximately 10 years at the beginning of the 20th century. The different fragments present are reviewed and assigned by external colorand manufacturing marks to certain known categories of containers. At the same time, it is discussed why ifthere were a large number of fragments of stoneware on the site (N= 676), only sixentered the areas formallyregistered as garbage dumps.

Se analizan los fragmentos de gres recuperados del sitio Mariano Miró, Departamento de Chapaleufú, Provincia de La Pampa. Se trata de un pueblo que estuvo habitado por un período de diez años aproximadamente en los comienzos del siglo XX. Se revisan los distintos fragmentos presentes y se los adscribe por color exterior y marcas de fabricación a determinadas categorías conocidas de contenedores. A su vez se discute por qué habiendo una gran cantidad de fragmentos de gres en el sitio (N = 676) solo seis ingresaron a las áreas formalmenteregistradas como basureros.
